Frequently asked questions.

What does a data center and telecom recruiting firm actually do?

A specialized recruiting and strategy firm connects data center operators, telecom providers, and AI infrastructure companies with candidates who already understand the technical demands of the role. This goes beyond resume matching. It includes sourcing for BICSI certified technicians, MEP engineers, and hyperscale construction teams, along with market intelligence on hiring timelines and compensation trends across markets like Northern Virginia, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Phoenix. Additionally, Kelly offers project delivery solutions and program management powered by our specialized talent and industry expertise.

What roles does Kelly Digital Infrastructure typically place?

Roles generally fall into a few categories. On the critical facilities side: data center technicians, critical facilities engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers, and commissioning agents. On the operations side: data center managers, NOC technicians, and site reliability engineers. On the network and infrastructure side: network engineers, systems administrators, and cybersecurity specialists. Construction and build-out roles include project managers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineers, and controls technicians. A full-service recruiting partner places across all these categories rather than specializing in just one, since most data center employers need talent spanning the entire lifecycle at once.

Where does Kelly Digital Infrastructure reach?

Kelly Digital Infrastructure operates across all major U.S. markets, with networks in the biggest infrastructure hubs, including Northern Virginia, Dallas–Fort Worth, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Silicon Valley, and the Pacific Northwest.
