Who can submit a nomination?
All Kelly Education and Kelly Pediatric Therapy school districts or business partners can nominate outstanding educators, paraeducators, and providers. This includes administrators, principals, teachers, special education directors, school district faculty, or managers.
Candidates are not eligible to self-nominate and must be nominated by someone at the district.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes! You may nominate as many deserving educators or providers as you would like. However, please do not submit multiple nominations for the same person. Multiple submissions for the same person do not increase chances of winning.
Will my nominee(s) know they have been nominated?
We would love to let our amazing educators and providers know they have been nominated!
When you provide an email address for your nominee on the nomination form on this page, they will receive an email from Kelly on or near March 27, 2026, congratulating them on their nomination.
How can I make my nomination stand out?
First, make sure you fulfill the minimum requirements for submitting a nomination: provide all required information; include at least two letters of recommendation (preferably on district letterhead, signed with name, title, and contact information); and include a brief video (no more than two minutes long). DO NOT include students.
Second, make sure your recommendation letters are thoughtful, and your video clearly articulates how your nominee stands out from others at your school or district. Think about providing solid examples about how they:
- Exceed their daily professional responsibilities.
- Demonstrate outstanding methods that result in significant student progress.
- Tailor their approach to meet the needs of students.
- Employ creative techniques to keep students engaged and motivated.
- Boost students' self-confidence and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.
- Go above and beyond to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Demonstrate patience and perseverance when working with students.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor that encourages a love of learning.
- For Substitute Teacher category: Follow lessons plans, leaves good notes, and deploys strong classroom management techniques.
Multiple letters of recommendation from a school faculty, stating unique and specific examples, will help make your nominee stand out.
What are some tips for creating or compressing my video?
Videos will be evaluated based on convincing reasons the nominee deserves to win. Be sure to introduce those who are speaking in the video (name/title/school) for credibility. Do not include students in your video. It will be disqualified.
Keep your points concise, so you do not exceed the maximum two minute length and 100 MB file size.

Videos will be accepted in any style or format. However, be aware that winners will be selected based on their outstanding accomplishments and recommendations, not the creativity of the video.

When will winners be announced?
The winners, and their respective schools, will be notified on or about April 15.
Winners will also be publicly announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-8, 2026.
How do I upload more than two letters of recommendation?
While only two recommendation letters are required to qualify for nomination, additional recommendation letters will be accepted and reviewed. You may upload a third (or more) recommendation letters within the form on this page where it says "Upload additional recommendation letters". It is important to note that you must select all additional files from your computer and upload them at the same time. Otherwise, only your last file chosen will upload.
We prefer that all letters of recommendation are on school/district letterhead, and include the signature and title of the person submitting the letter.
