Teresa Carroll is an influential thought leader for the human capital industry, helping global organizations to see emerging workforce trends and defining new ways of thinking about talent strategy. With more than 25 years of experience as a practitioner in the field, Teresa is equipped with practical, applicable, and real-world knowledge that empowers her to deliver valuable, forward-thinking insights in a captivating and relatable way. She leverages a deep understanding of workforce demographics, psychographics, and technologies with a unique ability to look ahead, propelling both her customers and the global talent industry forward. 

As an executive vice president for Kelly Services, Teresa has played a strategic role in developing some of the company’s best performing products and solutions, resulting in double digit growth for operating divisions she has managed. She played a pioneering role in the development of the integrated Talent Supply Chain Management (TSCM) model—an approach that has become a cornerstone of many global organizations’ workforce strategies. 

An educator at heart, Teresa is an engaging and impactful speaker, often presenting innovative ideas on how and why today’s talent works alongside strategies for staying at the forefront of the competitive field. She explores a variety of topics related to the future of work and talent supply chain management, including the emerging gig economy, the disruption of work due to technology innovation, and the role of women in leadership. In 2018, Teresa was appointed to the board of Bridgepoint Education, Inc., a public higher education company based in San Diego, focused on raising academic achievement.  She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Conference Board’s Labor Markets Center. 

Teresa’s contributions have yielded numerous industry awards for Kelly. Under her leadership, KellyOCG, the outsourcing and consulting group of Kelly Services, was named to the Global Outsourcing 100 Services Providers List by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) for seven consecutive years.  And, in 2017, KellyOCG was named to the Everest Group BPS Top 50, a global list of the largest third-party providers based on BPS revenues, under Teresa’s guidance.  

She has been named to Staffing Industry Analyst’s “Staffing 100” list for five consecutive years (2014 to 2018) and to its Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list for three consecutive years (2015 to 2017). She has also been recognized by Profiles in Diversity Magazine as a “Women Worth Watching” and by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine as a “Pro to Know”.  

Prior to joining Kelly, Teresa was a resident/industrial engineer for General Motors Corporation. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) in Michigan.  She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society and the Society of Women Engineers.
