Michael S. Webster is executive vice president and general manager, Americas, for Kelly Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB). Kelly is a world leader in human resources solutions headquartered in Troy, Michigan.
Promoted to his current position in 2009, Mr Webster is responsible for the operations, administration, and finance of Commercial, Professional and Technical staffing in the Americas region. The Americas region encompasses the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
In 2007, Mr. Webster served as executive vice president for Global Sales, Service and Marketing. In 2005, Mr. Webster served as senior vice president and general manager of Kelly’s Professional, Technical, and Staffing Alternatives. He directed the operations of a global network of more than 300 company-owned and operated offices.
Mr. Webster joined Kelly in 1996 as vice president of Sales, Corporate Accounts. He was named senior vice president, Sales in 1998. In 1999, Mr. Webster served as general manager in the U.S. Commercial Division, overseeing more than 40 metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. In 2003, Mr. Webster was promoted to senior vice president and general manager, U.S. Commercial Division, and was responsible for managing the branch operations for Kelly’s 16 largest regions across the United States.
Prior to joining Kelly, Mr. Webster worked for nearly 20 years at GE Plastics, last serving as general manager of the company’s North Central region.
Mr. Webster holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
