Temporary Employee Award Winners
Three Kelly temporary employee winners were selected for their outstanding performance and character. The winners will be flown to Troy, Michigan for the 60th Anniversary Celebration in October and will receive a cash prize.

Who could dispute Connie McClelland’s title of “Seminar Queen,” a reference to the 204 completed seminar and marketing assignments to her credit during eight years of Kelly employment. Her assignments receive outstanding performance ratings time and again. She consistently represents Kelly in a professional manner and handles whatever challenges come to her on the job. In fact, she is quick to accept various seminar assignments that help companies worldwide conduct their business through activities scheduled from our Kelly branch.
Connie’s commitment to making a positive difference is not confined to her job at Kelly; it is also reflected in her volunteer activities with several non-profit organizations throughout her community. She is a clerical volunteer with a health facility providing health care for the working uninsured, and participates in a University of South Alabama Neonatal program that provides handmade baby blankets for premature babies. She has also held several offices within her church, and is currently an Elder responsible for the church’s outreach program.

Jim Jones has worked with Kelly for more than 10 years, demonstrating his strong work ethic and dedication. In addition to his stellar reputation on the job, Jim is an outstanding citizen of the town of Greece, New York, where he spends his free time volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician. Over the years, he’s been involved with many charitable initiatives, including fundraising events for children with special needs; caring for the terminally ill at a local hospice by administering pain medication, giving baths and preparing food; and providing emotional comfort for these ill patients and their families. Jim is committed to his community and to seeking meaningful ways to get involved.

Roberto Christo loves to work. He’s been at it since the age of 16, working at an ice-cream shop, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut. At Kelly he has experienced a variety of assignments and has always proved he’s up for any challenges that happen to come his way. Roberto’s dedication to Kelly has been a constant (he’s been known to cover shifts on a moment’s notice), and his input into improving job-related processes has been invaluable.
Roberto plays equally hard when it comes to volleyball, his favorite sport. He tries to squeeze in time to play twice a week — even forfeiting sleep for the cause. He’s most proud of his ability to help his parents out and his recent apartment purchase.
Roberto’s next big dream? A position as a Kelly Consultant, he’s quick to announce. With his sheer determination and strong work ethic, he’s sure to succeed.
