The intern program at Kelly Services has many opportunities to offer students looking for experience within the recruitment field. As an undergraduate, the Intern Program offers an insight into the office environment, while providing an opportunity to develop more professional skills in conversing with people in a business environment. The Internship requires a commitment from students that can at times handle repetitive tasks when asked for, as well as remain motivated and efficient.

Kelly Services provides a great opportunity to develop your decision-making skills and hone your recruitment skills. Being a recruitment service you are trained in all aspects of recruitment and gain practical experience in telephone screening job applicants, you make decisions as to whether they should proceed to the next stage and take part in interviews and Assessment Centres. You are also required to complete reference checks which requires effective probing skills to ensure that the maximum amount of information is obtained to make an informative decision on the person’s ability for a position.

Kelly Services provides excellent recruitment training as well as computer training in recent software that can be completed at your own pace. While Kelly Services cannot guarantee the opportunity to be a professional recruitment consultant, they can leave you with many skills to achieve this goal and a greater understanding of the field.

It is also a great opportunity to make some strong friendships and associations with other people in the office. The team at Kelly are a group of very nice people and they make working lots of fun. I appreciated my time working in the program and feel that I have gained many experiences that would have been difficult to achieve through study alone.
