Kelly Services launches novel way to search and apply for jobs
Leading recruitment firm, Kelly Services, has today launched the 2007 Virtual Kelly Job Expo aimed at bringing fun and convenience to the task of job searching.
The Kelly Job Expo transforms the concept of a traditional jobs fair into an eye-catching yet simple online exhibition for job seekers.
Starting today and running through to 27 May, job seekers can log onto the expo, seek information, search for jobs and submit interest in their chosen industry or specific jobs.
The Kelly Job Expo features temporary, contract and full-time opportunities in the fields of accounting & finance, IT, scientific, engineering, industrial, call centre and office support.

When visitors enter the virtual exhibition hall they can choose an industry booth and search jobs Australia-wide or select a specific location. If they can’t find a job that suits their skills or career aspirations they can define their ideal job and employer of choice. Visitors can move easily through each industry booth or head to the corporate sponsor gallery and search for jobs with some of Australia’s great places to work. |
James Bowmer, Country Manager of Kelly Services Australia, said “Candidates were telling us they were bored with traditional methods of searching for jobs and wanted a new and exciting platform for job searching and applying.
“The Kelly Job Expo is the first of its kind in Australia and we are excited to launch such an innovative initiative for clients and candidates”.
The Kelly Job Expo will run from 18 to 27 May 2007. All job applicants go into a draw to win one of 11 prizes including an 81 cm LCD TV.
