Kelly Services appoints new Australian Manager

Sydney, Australia, February 28, 2006

Kelly Services today announced the appointment of Mr James Bowmer as Senior Director, Operations, and Country Manager for Australia.

The new role will be responsible for the day-to-day business activities including sales, marketing and operations, and will report to the Regional General Manager, Mr Craig Atkinson.

Mr Atkinson said: “ We are delighted to welcome James to the Kelly Services team at an important time in the development of our Australian operations.

“The role will be critical to the implementation of our business strategy and will allow us to give added support and focus to our branches across Australia at a time of growth and expansion.

“James’ extensive experience within the employment services industry and his proven track record in strategic relationships, sales and operations will be an important asset as we expand our Australian business”.

Mr Bowmer said he was excited at the opportunities presented by the Australian market and looked forward to playing a key role in helping Kelly Services to both grow and identify new market segments.

Before joining Kelly Services, James worked for almost ten years for Adecco Employment Services both in Australia and the United States.

In his most recent position at Adecco, Mr Bowmer was Senior Regional Vice President responsible for managing 59 general service and technical offices with a combined revenue of US$380 million.

Biographical Details – Mr James Bowmer
James has a Bachelor of Business in International Business and Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney. For almost ten years, James held numerous positions within Adecco Employment Services. James moved to the U.S. after working as a strategic accounts project assistant in Sydney from 1996 to 1998. He worked in an Account Executive role in Santa Clara, California before being appointed Branch Manager in 2000. He later became the Vice President of Operations in San Francisco and was then promoted to Senior Regional Vice President, responsible for 59 offices in California, Nevada and Arizona.
