    Steve Armstrong is senior vice president and general manager of U.S. Operations for Kelly Services®, responsible for Kelly’s commercial, professional and technical business across the United States. Kelly® is a global leader in providing workforce solutions.

    Mr. Armstrong was appointed to his current position in 2009 and has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of Kelly’s organizational and service delivery changes to support the varied needs of centralized and branch-based clients in the U.S.

    With nearly 30 years of staffing industry experience at Kelly Services, he has held a variety of management positions in the areas of service, marketing research, and human resources. His tenure with the Company includes management positions overseeing Kelly’s small and large market operations, and technical services group. In addition, Mr. Armstrong spent six years as vice president and regional manager of Kelly’s Detroit territory, with responsibility for local sales and operations.

    Prior to joining Kelly Services, he worked as an analyst for Comerica Bank and was a faculty member of the Department of Psychology at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

    Mr. Armstrong holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in applied behavior analysis from Western Michigan University, where he also earned his B.A. in psychology. He has served and continues to serve on a variety of non-profit boards of directors.
