General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer, and Assistant Secretary
Peter Quigley is senior vice president and general counsel, chief administrative officer, and assistant secretary for Kelly Services®, a global leader in providing workforce solutions. He reports to Carl Camden, president and chief executive officer of Kelly Services. Mr. Quigley was named to his present position in 2015 and, in addition to his Law and Risk Management responsibilities, became responsible for administrative function areas including Human Resources, IT, Global Service, Facilities, and Corporate Communication, that are critical to the delivery of Kelly’s strategic and financial business goals. As a key member of Kelly’s senior leadership team for more than 10 years, Mr. Quigley has progressed through the leadership ranks since joining the company in 2002. He led Kelly’s Contracts Administration team for three years before being promoted to associate general counsel in 2005, at which time he also assumed responsibility for the Risk Management, Workers’ Compensation, and Unemployment Compensation groups. In 2008 – in an unconventional career move that gave Peter a unique vantage point into Kelly’s largest customers – he left the Law department to manage what was then termed the “Office of the President Accounts” and later, he managed the account management functions that are part of what is now Global Solutions. Since assuming the role of general counsel in 2013, Mr. Quigley has brought a sense of urgency, global insight, and a keen focus on growth and responsible risk-taking. Prior to joining Kelly®, Mr. Quigley worked at Lucent Technologies and AT&T Corporation in a variety of roles, as well as serving on the management committee of Lucent’s internal venture capital business. Earlier in his career, he practiced law in Washington, D.C. Mr. Quigley earned a Juris doctorate with honors from the National Law Center at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree with distinction in political science and history from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the board of directors for the American Staffing Association.
