    General Manager, APAC and EMEA Regions

    Shuman-Natalia170Natalia Shuman is senior vice president and general manager for Kelly’s EMEA and APAC regions. She also serves as a board member of Kelly’s joint venture, TS Kelly Workforce Solutions Limited, in North Asia. She is based in Singapore.

    Natalia is a global executive with more than 20 years of management and operational experience in the staffing industry. Her career with Kelly® spans three regions of the globe and a variety of leadership positions.

    She first joined Kelly in Russia, establishing Kelly’s operations as a general manager in Moscow. She relocated to New York in 2000, where she managed branch network operations, key accounts and growth initiatives. She was responsible for managing Kelly’s largest and most complex customer programs across the U.S., Europe and Asia, and led strategic cross-divisional projects focused on delivering above and beyond results and value creation for clients.

    In 2011, she relocated to Singapore to focus on Kelly’s customers and partners in the APAC region. She was then appointed chief operating officer to start-up Kelly’s joint venture operations in China and North Asia and was based in Shanghai for over a year. In her present role as head of EMEA and APAC regions, Natalia is focused on regional strategies, growth opportunities, building innovative customer solutions and talent development across borders.

    Natalia’s firsthand experience managing diverse teams and working with customers in different parts of the world allow her to thoroughly understand and appreciate cultural differences, talent trends, business practices and traditions in both emerging and developed markets. She is well positioned to consult with senior management of large and small companies on their talent acquisition and management issues and to positively impact their outlook, helping them to grow and stay competitive within their industries.

    She completed a dual Global Executive MBA program with Columbia University and the London Business School, and graduated with distinction from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance in Russia. Natalia is an active member of the London Business School alumni network in Singapore and Columbia alumni in Shanghai. In 2015, she was named to the “Women Worth Watching” list by Profiles in Diversity Magazine and to the Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing list by Staffing Industry Analysts. That same year, Natalia was elected to the board of Ciett (the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies).

    Natalia is known for her global mindset, high energy, and sound judgment, as well as for developing top talent to succeed throughout Kelly. She is passionate about helping women gain leadership roles in the business world and to that end, she is avid about mentoring and connecting women to opportunities she uncovers.
